It was extremely hot, but also extremely windy. So that helped out a great bit. We are grateful for the memories. And would do it again, maybe just don't try to hang up balloons, because we lost a lot.

Barfield Crescent Park is a great local park. It’s very clean and well maintained, with plenty of benches and trash cans along the trails. It’s definitely a busy park, but there’s still plenty of space to enjoy nature. Many areas are accessible with a stroller or wheelchair, although some parts have pretty big hillsβ€”so be ready for a bit of a workout! The paved walkways were nice, but my dog didn’t love them and kept trying to wander off trail. Once we made it down to the creek though, it was absolutely beautiful and totally worth the walk. My dog had the best time there and got a ton of zoomies. It’s a wonderful spot to take your dog, get some exercise, and enjoy the scenery.

Want to play a little game? Count how many wild life you find while on the trail. I found a turtle 🐒 There much to love about this park. It’s very well maintained. If you want exercise without distraction I’d suggest heading to the park by 6:30 as it can get quite packed. I nearly lost a limb from a biker going max speed. Only downside is that highway near it is loud. 9/10 turtles 🐒

This park is very big with many things to do for the whole family! There are hiking, biking and walking (paved paths) for all levels. The trees have just about lost all their leaves, but still very beautiful! The river was pretty dried up and we could walk quite a distance on the bed. Beautiful!!!
